Performer and Teacher

Teacher of AIR TECHNIQUES in the professional courses of Kataklò Academy. Claudia Cavalli in 2004 joined Mvula Sungani’s CRDL Compagnia, taking part in all theatrical productions performing on the stages of the most important theaters in Italy, France and Germany. Since 2009, she has been working with Giulia Staccioli’s Kataklò Athletic Dance Theatre Company in the production UP while simultaneously perfecting aerial dance techniques.

In March 2012 he took part in the production ‘Le Destin des Images’ by the Harry Albert contemporary dance company in co-production with the Saint’Etienne Opera (FR). She won the critics’ prize at the first EDC International Aerial Dance Competition in Rome where she was also selected to participate in the finals of the Hong Kong International Competition in the discipline of ‘Fabric’. In 2011 he founded with Vito Cassano the Eleina D Company. In 2013 she participated in the international final of the PPS Aerial Performance Tour-nament at the Sheung Wan Civic Center in Hong Kong, representing Italy in the category ‘Silk’ winning the awards: First in Category, Best Costume, Best Showgirl/Critic’s Award and ranking as Overall Winner with the highest score in the entire Contest. Also with Kataklò in the 2014/2015 season takes part in the production ‘PUZZLE’ for the tour in Italy, Holland, Brazil, Turkey . In November 2014 she returned to the P.P. S. TOUR-NAMENT at Sheung Wan Civic Center – Hong Kong as a Contest judge and, together with Vito Cassano, to present an excerpt from the new production Eleina D. In 2015 she was selected as a lecturer for Move-it in London. For Kataklò, in 2016, he dances in the PLAY production in the pre-Olympic tour to numerous cities in Brazil for Rio 2016.

In May 2018 with the production “Co-Existence “she was selected for the “IDACO nyc – Italian Dance Connection” festival, performing inside the Italian Cultural Institute and at the Baruch Performing Arts Center Theater in Manhattan, New York, and as a guest lecturer at the Broadway Dance Center and Peridance Capezio Center. Dancer and assistant choreographer for the production “Little Red Riding Hood” by Compagnia La luna nel letto and directed by Michelangelo Campanale, a show that won the 2018 Ferrara FESTEBÀ Festival, the INFOGIOVANI YOUNG&KIDS FIT International Festival of Contemporary Theater and Scene in Lugano, and the 2019 EOLO Award for Best Show. In December 2019, together with Vito Cassano, he returned to teach at the Peridance Capezio Center in New York.
